Case study4

 Q1.How could Mussie and Ellie find out whether older people do more for charity than younger people?
A1. They can ask many people, surf the net, read the book of charity and they can make questionnaires and let people to answer it

Q2.Why does Mussie think that these data prove him right? Why might Ellie think that these data do not prove him right?
A2. Because he research it and many people said so and it’s reliable.

Q3. What questions should they ask?
A3. 1) How old are you?
       2) How much money do you give to charity?
       3) How much time do you spend doing charity work?
       4) What type of charities do you donate money to?
       5) What type of charity do you do give your time to?
       6) What is your favorite charity?
     
Q4. How many questionnaires should they hand out? Who do you think should fill in their questionnaires?
A4. We need to print out about 50 questionnaires. For parents and students.

Q5.Which software could Mussie and Ellie use to put the answers in to the computer? How can they check that the data are correct? How could they reduce the number of
errors in the data? What problems might there be if the data were typed incorrectly?
A5. Spreadsheet and they could recheck it .They could reduce a lot of errors and if they typed in incorrectly then there will be wrong data.

Q6.What is the best way for Ellie and Mussie to present their results?
A6.Use the pie chart because it will be appears as percentage.

Case study3

Q1:What might be the  differences between a computer stem set up for gaming compared to one  set up for a business to use ?Think about the different hard work that might be needed.

A1: I think computer need for gaming has to be much faster then computer for business.

Q2: Earl has got $800 to spend. How can Shaheen work out if he has got enough money?  What if he hasn’t got enough? What methods could Shaheen use to help her work out the prices of this different option?

A2:     She has to decrease the XPZ7000 Tower to XPZ6500 Tower to decrease the amount of money.

Q3:What does Shaheen need to do to this spreadsheet model so that it is ready to use?

A3:I think Shaheen has got to spend and adds another formula to work out  whether the customer  has got enough money.

Q4. How can Shaheen use the spreadsheet model to help her with the new customer? What changes might she need make to her spread sheet model?

A4.If Shaheen use spreadsheet it’s easier to record customers shopping list.

Q5. How else could Shaheen present this information to make it easier to read?
